Take part in this important BMI fundraiser

9 holes of golf (approximately 2.5hrs) followed by lunch, an auction, presentations and then the option to play another 9 holes of golf and enjoy daylight saving on the picturesque golf course.

This is a fund raising day for BMI and an opportunity to reward your people with a fun day out, all gender teams are welcome.

Schedule of 9 hole Ambrose Event

9.30am – registration

10am – shotgun start

1pm – drinks

1.30pm – 2 course lunch included

2pm – Fundraising auction

2.30pm – Award presentations

(including the  Perpetual Trophy plus City Golf vouchers)

Ways to be involved

^Register as a player at $100 per player.

The field on the day is limited to a maximum of 68 players.

You will get the opportunity to get some tips from PGA Professional Mick Murname on the day.

Advertist your business at the hole.

Distribute your information pack.

Includes entry of 4 players in the 9 hole ambrose event.

Drinks available on the day.

A 2 course sit-down lunch.

For non-golfers this means

All players in a team tee off. The best ball of the 4 drives is selected and the other 3 players pick
up their ball and carry it to the best ball position.

All players hit the second shot and the best ball is selected and the other 3 players pick up their
ball and carry it to the best ball position.

The game continues until they reach the green where all players have the opportunity (if required) to sink the putt.

All players will have their drive chosen at least twice in the nine holes.

PGA Professional | Mick Murname

In 2019 Mick was awarded Game Development Professional of the Year at the QLD Golf Industry awards.

Mick has found his real passion for golf is with coaching. His particular passion is coaching juniors,  running junior coaching programs at five regional clubs in Queensland including Bundaberg, Innes Park, Childers, Gin Gin and Gayndah. He has also attended sports expo days and an inclusive sports expo for children with disabilities.

He is visiting Ballarat for this event all the way from Bundaberg.

You will get the chance to pick up some tips from Mick on the day. What’s not to love about this event.
