Would you like to help in delivering BMI services

A call for expressions of interest for:
1) Anyone with the RSA certificate (or anyone willing to undertake the ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ certificate) to volunteer for Bar Operations at the BMI.

2) And, or we are also looking for volunteers to assist with BMI events that support Ballarat Festivals and Events.

We would love to hear from you.

Expression of Interest to Volunteer

Established in 1859, the Ballaarat Mechanics' Institute (BMI) sits proudly under the watchful eye of Minerva, goddess of wisdom, inviting a diverse group of people through its doors who have sought education, entertainment, and friendship. Today the BMI continues as an independently run cultural hub and Ballarat treasure with its significant building and and collections providing a rich source for research and inspiration in the community. Volunteers ply a vital role and there are lots of different ways to get involved across the lending library, heritage collections, building and tours, fundraising, and events and exhibitions. Thank you for expressing an interest in volunteering at the BMI. After completion of the form you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator.
