The Ledge.
Christian White.

When human remains are discovered in a forest, police are baffled, the locals are shocked and one group of old friends starts to panic.  Their long-held secret is about to be uncovered.

It all began in 1999 when sixteen-year-old Aaron ran away from home, drawing his friends into an unforeseeable chain of events that no one escaped from unscathed.

By Any Other Name.
Jodi Picoult.

In 1581, Emilia Bassano is allowed no voice of her own.  But as the Lord Chamberlain’s mistress she has access to the theatre and finds a way to bring her work to the stage secretly.  But creating some of the world’s greatest dramatic masterpieces comes at a cost: by paying a man for  the use of his name, she will write her own out of history.

His name is William Shakespeare.

In present-day Manhattan, playwright Melina Green has written a new work inspired by the life of her Elizabethan ancestor Emilia Bassano.  Although the challenges are different four hundred years later, the playing field is still not level for women in theatre.  Is Melina – like Emilia- willing to forfeit her credit as author to see her work performed?

No One Will Know.
Rose Carlyle.

After  years of foster homes and overseas travel, Eve Sylvester has  lost touch with her friends and family.  She is young, alone, desperate – and pregnant.

Then she meets Julia and Christopher Hygate, a charming and  glamours couple who live in a beautiful mansion on remote Tasmanian island. They make her a lucrative job offer.Eve thinks she has fallen on her feet- she has found a home, and her  child will grow up in the aptly named paradise Bay.  But some things about the job don’t add up. Whey must Eve stay out of sight? And what about the mysterious yachts sailing in and out the the bay?  Has Eve made a deal with the devil?

It’s too late to ask questions.  Eve is already in far too deep.
