Stage Ready Networking Night: Industry Pathways
Free – $5
The Ballaarat Mechanics’ Institute
How do you turn an interest in live performance and production into a pathway through the industry?
Join Stage Ready for an open conversation about industry pathways, training, mentoring and building a career in live performance and events.
Featuring Murray Johnstone from Arts Centre Melbourne and Justin Green from Collarts, (additional presenters TBC.) The evening will explore the different ways people enter and develop within the industry; from education and Ballaarat Mechanics’ Institute Event Media Details early opportunities through to mentoring, professional networks and employment. Rather than presenting one “correct” pathway, the conversation will look at the different routes available, what employers and industry leaders look for, and how emerging practitioners can make the most of training, mentoring and real-world experience.
The evening will include a facilitated conversation, audience questions and informal networking, with an opportunity to meet others working, studying and developing careers across the sector.
