Duo Latte:
(Formed in 2020).
This classical duo comprises two musicians who live in the Wimmera and began as a direct result of the Covid pandemic. Unable to continue with the long-established Ballarat Symphony Orchestral weekly rehearsals, ‘cellist John Dods soon realised that an opportunity to make music (with spacing and other restrictions) existed in Charlton, with pianist Dana Czarski and her Steinway grand piano at the beautifully restored Rex Theatre.
This has been an almost continuous weekly delight each Sunday morning for both the players and travellers awaiting their coffee. The Duo Latte was so named for the seemingly endless supply of excellent coffee available at the Rex Theatre.
Duo Latte have put together a delightful program of light classical items for your enjoyment with a collection of works by:
- Mendelssohn
- Schubert
- Saint-Saens
- Faure
- Tchaikovsky
- Schumann
- Grainger
- Shostakovitch
- Adorian
- Diego Collatti, and,
- Fazil Say.

Afternoon tea will be served in the Library courtesy the Aflredton Rotary Club.
