An Evening with Mick Marshall

About the Screening

Advanced screening of the uncut version of the documentary Beyond Limits, telling the remarkable true story of Mick Marshall’s fight to run again. The audience will have the opportunity to not only watch the yet to be completed documentary, but also potentially appear in it as this screen will be recorded and could be used as the ending of the film. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with Mick.

About Mick

Mick Marshall suffered a serious workplace injury that has required eight major surgeries and requiring Mick to learn to walk again three times. Told by many that he would be unlikely to ever run again. Four years after the accident Mick entered the inaugural Ballarat half marathon in 2024 and attend the race as his goodbye to running. What happened instead was Mick got inspired to not only run but to attempt a world record which he achieved in the Melbourne marathon later the same year as the fast man on crutches with his lower leg injuries. On Sunday 27th April 2025 Mick will attempt to become the fastest man on crutches full stop (regardless of the class). This will complete a remarkable story of recovery and make Mick one of the premier adaptive athletes in the world.
