Red Gifts in the Garden of Stones
by Pam Swanborough
Suspiciously long-lived matriarch Lizzie Coombe expects her one hundredth birthday to be memorable, But what comes after will never be forgotten by anyone in this close-knit Welsh community.
Lizzie and her daughter Myfanway only remember old love from long dead sweethearts, granddaughter Sarah Maud is frightened by it…and great granddaughter Jenner doesn’t seem to need it. As events and people spiral out of her control, Lizzie faces her own ghost, and sees she might have to do the unthinkable: care for her family.
