Join us for a glorious morning high tea and speeches to launch our first official Ballarat Pride Month!
Dress in something that makes you feel fabulous!
Pride Month (June) is the month where we celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual people. We take the time to acknowledge their contributions to the world, we commemorate those we have lost and we celebrate the vibrant world of queer folks everywhere.
Location: The Humffray Room, 2nd floor, Ballaarat Mechanic’s Institute, 117-119 Sturt St, Ballarat Central
Accessibility: The BMI is completely wheelchair accessible with a small inline (approx. 2º) in our main entrance foyer (from Sturt Street), and lift access throughout the building. There are two accessible toilets, assistance animals are welcome and there is a quiet space for anyone who needs it. More information: https://ballaratmi.org.au/accessibility/
