Danielle Whalebone is an Australian songwriter, guitarist, and spoken-word artist whose work dissolves the borders between sound, poetry, and performance art. Emerging from Melbourne’s post-punk underground, she crafts immersive sonic landscapes that shimmer between fragility and ferocity — meditations on isolation, longing, and resilience. Her latest project, Whispers of Shadows, is a hypnotic fusion of noise-guitar, poetic narration, and
shifting visual projections. Collaborating with renowned producer Lindsay Gravina (Birdland Studios; Magic Dirt, Rowland S. Howard,) and guitarist Francesco Manuse, Whalebone transforms live performance into a multi-sensory event — equal parts concert, theatre, and dreamscape.

Australian rock. With Whispers of Shadows, she expands that world — embracing experimental structures, feedback-driven atmospheres, and spoken-word storytelling.
Her performances are immersive experiences where light, texture, and tone intertwine. Shifting projections reflect emotional states; guitar feedback swells like ocean tides. At their core lie Whalebone’s words — intimate and haunting, exploring the fractures of identity, memory, and love.
