Heritage Gaps Review
Speaker: Annabel Neylon.
Heritage provides links to our past and provides evidence of how our communities have evolved and developed over time. It is sometimes described as what we want to keep, to hand down to future generations.
Join Annabel Neylon, Co-ordinator of Heritage at City of Ballarat who will explore the meaning of heritage and how it is protected within the Ballarat context.
Annabel Neylon is City of Ballarat’s Heritage Co-ordinator with over 25 years in heritage planning, conservation and management and is a long serving member of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) Heritage Advocacy Committee.
Annabel is passionate about rural and regional heritage places and finding ways to support the community to best protect and manage the places they value most. She has extensive expertise in the development and delivery of best practice heritage planning outcomes, and has successfully led and contributed to dozens of heritage studies, planning scheme amendments and heritage education programs in her career.
