Book Sale
We will also be hosting a book sale in the Library on Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 December. These books have been donated to the BMI by members and the Ballarat community to assist in raising funds for Ballarat’s Oldest Cultural Institution.
Prices range from $5 to $10 | Some collectable books will also be on sale, these will be priced individually.

We now have enough stock for this Summer’s sale. Thank you to everyone who has supported our sales this year.
We can take delivery during regular Library Operating Hours:
- 10am – 4pm | Monday, Wednesday , & Friday
- 10am – 3pm | Tuesday & Thursday
- 9.30am – 12noon on Saturday
To assist with your Christmas shopping, also open in our shopping precinct will be:
- The Ballarat Imaginarium – Open, Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 3pm
- Homeground Cafe – Open, Saturday & Sunday from 10am – 3pm
- Hughes Gallery – Open, Saturday from 10am to 2pm
- Women of the Well – Open Saturday from 10am to 5pm
