After much difficult deliberation, Ballarat National Theatre have made the heartbreaking decision to cancel this week’s production of God of Carnage.

One of our cast members, Samantha White, was involved in a major car accident a week ago. While we are relieved that she is now in recovery, she will be unable to perform as planned. Given that Samantha’s husband, Benj Beatty, is also a member of the cast, we feel that the impact is too significant to proceed with the production at this time. Our thoughts and heartfelt support are with Samantha and Benj as they focus on her recovery.

We are incredibly proud of the production! Ruby and the entire team have done amazing work, and we thank them for their commitment.
