She has notably served as the Chair of the Trust Board for Ballarat Cemeteries\, where she has been instrumental in overseeing significant projects\, including the restoration of historic rotundas.Beyond her work with Ballarat Cemeteries\, Gayle has demonstrated a strong commitment to community services through her involvement with Child and Family Services (Cafs) Ballarat. During her nine-year tenure on the Board of Governance\, eight of which she served as Chair\, she led the organization through substantial strategic and governance transformations. Gayle’s dedication to the arts is evident through her position on the board of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale.
