The common theme\, through line is that a lack of empathy\, a lack of meaning\, and of love and of connectedness is one of the great challenges for 21st Century humanity (and the planet we live on). 								\n				\n									Playwright: Barry Kay Director: Louise Permezel Running Time: 100 Minutes 								\n				\n									Barry Kay is a graduate from the Victorian College of Arts\, Drama School where he majored in acting from 1986-1988. Since then he has worked as a professional actor\, playwright\, director\, voice-over artist\, singer and teacher. From 1998 until 2023 he worked at Sovereign Hill\, specialising in costumed historical interpretation and museum theatre. His role at Sovereign Hill included researching\, writing\, directing and performing in a range of theatre events\, from street theatre\, to melodrama\, to naturalism\, to pantomime and more. He was the first president of IMTAL (the International Museum Theatre Alliance) for the Asia-Pacific region from 2011-12. 								\n				\n									Louise Permezel is currently studying a Masters of Creative Writing\, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. This follows both a career in education and theatre. Prior to teaching in Ballarat\, Louise worked as the Artistic Director of several professional theatre companies including Zootango Theatre Company\, Murray River Performing Group and Crosswinds. She has also directed with Melbourne Theatre Company for their education program and lectured part-time at the Victorian College of the Arts. Since then he has worked as a professional actor\, playwright\, director\, voice-over artist\, singer and teacher. From 1998 until 2023 he worked at Sovereign Hill\, specialising in costumed historical interpretation and museum theatre. His role at Sovereign Hill included researching\, writing\, directing and performing in a range of theatre events\, from street theatre\, to melodrama\, to naturalism\, to pantomime and more. He was the first president of IMTAL (the International Museum Theatre Alliance) for the Asia-Pacific region from 2011-12. 								\n				\n									Louise Permezel is currently studying a Masters of Creative Writing\, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. This follows both a career in education and theatre. Since then he has worked as a professional actor\, playwright\, director\, voice-over artist\, singer and teacher. From 1998 until 2023 he worked at Sovereign Hill\, specialising in costumed historical interpretation and museum theatre. His role at Sovereign Hill included researching\, writing\, directing and performing in a range of theatre events\, from street theatre\, to melodrama\, to naturalism\, to pantomime and more. He was the first president of IMTAL (the International Museum Theatre Alliance) for the Asia-Pacific region from 2011-12. 								\n				\n									Louise Permezel is currently studying a Masters of Creative Writing\, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. This follows both a career in education and theatre. Prior to teaching in Ballarat\, Louise worked as the Artistic Director of several professional theatre companies including Zootango Theatre Company\, Murray River Performing Group and Crosswinds. The common theme\, through line is that a lack of empathy\, a lack of meaning\, and of love and of connectedness is one of the great challenges for 21st Century humanity (and the planet we live on). 								\n				\n									Playwright: Barry Kay Director: Louise Permezel Running Time: 100 Minutes 								\n				\n									Barry Kay is a graduate from the Victorian College of Arts\, Drama School where he majored in acting from 1986-1988. Since then he has worked as a professional actor\, playwright\, director\, voice-over artist\, singer and teacher. From 1998 until 2023 he worked at Sovereign Hill\, specialising in costumed historical interpretation and museum theatre. His role at Sovereign Hill included researching\, writing\, directing and performing in a range of theatre events\, from street theatre\, to melodrama\, to naturalism\, to pantomime and more. He was the first president of IMTAL (the International Museum Theatre Alliance) for the Asia-Pacific region from 2011-12. 								\n				\n									Louise Permezel is currently studying a Masters of Creative Writing\, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. This follows both a career in education and theatre. Prior to teaching in Ballarat\, Louise worked as the Artistic Director of several professional theatre companies including Zootango Theatre Company\, Murray River Performing Group and Crosswinds. She has also directed with Melbourne Theatre Company for their education program and lectured part-time at the Victorian College of the Arts. The common theme\, through line is that a lack of empathy\, a lack of meaning\, and of love and of connectedness is one of the great challenges for 21st Century humanity (and the planet we live on). 								\n				\n									Playwright: Barry Kay Director: Louise Permezel Running Time: 100 Minutes 								\n				\n									Barry Kay is a graduate from the Victorian College of Arts\, Drama School where he majored in acting from 1986-1988. Since then he has worked as a professional actor\, playwright\, director\, voice-over artist\, singer and teacher. From 1998 until 2023 he worked at Sovereign Hill\, specialising in costumed historical interpretation and museum theatre. His role at Sovereign Hill included researching\, writing\, directing and performing in a range of theatre events\, from street theatre\, to melodrama\, to naturalism\, to pantomime and more. He was the first president of IMTAL (the International Museum Theatre Alliance) for the Asia-Pacific region from 2011-12. 								\n				\n									Louise Permezel is currently studying a Masters of Creative Writing\, Publishing and Editing at the University of Melbourne. This follows both a career in education and theatre. Prior to teaching in Ballarat\, Louise worked as the Artistic Director of several professional theatre companies including Zootango Theatre Company\, Murray River Performing Group and Crosswinds. She has also directed with Melbourne Theatre Company for their education program and lectured part-time at the Victorian College of the Arts.
