The Foundation is completely community funded and supports artists from any genre\, with an alumni group numbering over 500 artists who have lived\, worked or studied locally. This talk will examine the work of the Foundation\, the achievements of its alumni\, what the support of BAF and the wider community means to an emerging artist.  								\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n							\n			\n		\n						\n				\n					Speaker: Paula Nicholson 				\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n									Paula Nicholson has always had a keen interest in performing arts. She studied singing\, piano and music theory throughout her education\, has been involved in musical theatre and has performed with bands and in duos. After obtaining a degree in science\, her career took her into customer service management and human resources. Through voluntary community based activity\, she gained extensive experience in fundraising\, event management and community engagement.
