Fanny Lumsden: fallow album tour

January 16 @ 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm AEDT

$15 – $50

Join ARIA nominee and three times Golden Guitar winner Fanny Lumsden and her incredible band the Prawn
Stars as they celebrates Fanny’s “breakthrough record” (Chris Mathieson – SMHfallow, which despite being
released on Covid Friday( aka March 13) managed to debut in the ARIA top ten, being the only solo female
artist to do so for 2020 so far.

Known for her all-in community night out Country Halls Tour, which has sold out more than 130 halls all
across Australia, this tour will bring something a little different to the live stage.

“I wrote these songs in a season of change, in a valley on the western side of the snowy mountains and
recorded them in a stone hut. Then released them through Bushfires and a global pandemic. I couldn't be
more ready to bring these songs to life and have a bloody good time doing it.”

– Fanny Lumsden

Changing up how ‘things are done’ Fanny’s music is joyous, original, intelligent, rich with harmonies and an
experience you will not forget in a hurry.

Fanny Lumsden has established herself as an exuberant performer with high energy show that somehow successfully
manages to combine totem tennis, synchronized swimming with intimate storytelling. It’s like she’s harnessed the greatest
attributes of Gillian Welch and Dolly Parton’ – Chris Familton, The Music

‘Lumsden is a songwriter who knows exactly what she wants to say and how she wants to present herself and
her art’ – Andrew McMillian, The Australian

‘Lumsden remains a savvy songwriter, with strong melodies and sharp lyrical observations, and Fallow will
make fans out of people who would ordinarily turn up their noses at the genre.’
