Wendy Graham — Board Member
Wendy has worked in educational settings for over 50 years – having held principal class positions in both primary and secondary schools, and a regional role for Central Highlands Wimmera in Victoria for supporting schools in their Strategic plans and Data analysis.
During these years of leadership Wendy was active in many forums for decision-making in school settings and also on many statewide forums in which the focus was always on improving teaching and learning provision for schools.
Wendy now works as a consultant specializing in strategic planning processes, professional coaching, and leadership development initiatives. In recent years the main focus of her work has been related to the development and facilitation of leadership programs, working in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and the Northern Territory.
She was Chair for Country Education Partnerships in Victoria for 6 years. This organization strongly advocated for rural education and ensured equity in the provision of policy and decision making that impacted on teaching and learning in our rural communities.
Wendy was a Director on the Board of Sacre Coeur, a Catholic Independent Girls School in Melbourne, serving as Chair for the final 5 years of her term of office.
Wendy has been on the Board of BMI for 3 years and currently Chairs the Communications, Fundraising and Member Services Committee.
