Position Vacant – Arts and Events Officer

The Ballaarat Mechanics' Institute (BMI) is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Arts and Events Officer - to commence in November 2020.

The BMI, sitting proudly under the watchful eye of Minerva, has welcomed a diverse group of people through its doors, including those seeking knowledge through education.

Since 1859, the BMI has been used for balls, lectures, markets, cinema, library, concerts and cultural events. Today the BMI continues its significant role in Ballarat’s rich cultural heritage and is looking to the future.

That is where you come in!

The BMI is growing our team to include an Arts and Events Officer! This role would assist the Venue and Events Manager in creating, producing and seeking events to be held at the BMI.
